In Person Workshops
We are still offering in-person workshops to primary schools, libraries and youth groups, and we have recently expanded to secondary schools too! An exciting development for our Education team.
2020 was a momentous year for all of us. The world changed how it worked, and while we do hope that in time, things will go back to the way they were, as it stands, we have all had to adapt.
For the Education Team at Dog Trust, it involved splitting our education programme in two.
We now offer two types of workshops. In-person workshops (which we will detail below), and for those who would prefer, we also offer our workshops online via zoom.
You can read about our online workshops (and our downloadable workshops) on our online workshops page, but this page is dedicated to our in-person workshops. Our face-to-face lessons, that we still carry out, but in a new, 2020 way.
One of the main components of our workshops is Dog Safety (along with Responsible Dog ownership), so our team have always got safety on the brain. Granted, it is usually safety in the context of dogs, but still, our heads are wired to ensure everyone we educate stays as safe as possible.
And as for the content of our workshops, well, we have an incredible amount of workshops designed for children from 5-17, and we are eager to share them with you.
Check out our workshops page for full details, and get in touch with us today to book us in. We’re confident that 2021 will be a big year for our team, so make sure you don’t get left behind!
