Hello, I’m Fiona and these are my boxers, Jake and Ollie. We visit primary schools in the Dublin and Eastern area and cover Dublin and parts of Kildare, Meath and Wicklow. The workshops are FREE to schools and aim to educate the dog owners of the future about Responsible Dog Ownership; hopefully in turn reducing the number of stray and abandoned dogs in Ireland. We teach a variety of workshops so we can provide something new each time we visit. A Dog’s Needs, the Cost of a Dog and Safety around Dogs are some of our most popular workshops. We would love to visit your school so why not get in touch today?

Hi, I’m Aoife and I’m Dogs Trust’s Education and Community Officer for Clare and South Connacht. For many years I have volunteered and worked with various Animal Rescue & Welfare Charities. This has made me passionate about changing attitudes and promoting responsible dog ownership. I feel the most effective way to do this is by educating the future dog owners of tomorrow. I am so excited about visiting schools and sharing the Dogs Trust message that "A dog is for life, not just for Christmas" ® . I offer age appropriate workshops to primary schools in Galway, North Clare, South Mayo and South Roscommon. I love to bring fun and activity to the classroom and can’t wait to visit your school. If you would like me to visit please get in touch!!

Hi, my name is Paul and I’m the Midlands Education and Community Officer. Before joining the Education team I previously worked in Dogs Trust as a Canine Carer, and although I miss seeing the dogs in the centre every day, I love that I get to travel the Midlands with my lovely lurcher, Magic. We offer free educational workshops to primary schools and community groups in Westmeath, Longford, Offaly and Laois, with the aim of passing on the message of Responsible Dog Ownership. It is Dogs Trust's hope that these workshops will reduce the amount of strays, and improve dog welfare as a whole in Ireland. If you would like a visit from myself and Magic, then get in touch today!
